Fred Troxell, Sr., Former Millwright

Fred S. Troxell, Sr., 85, of 1805 Spring Garden St., Easton, died yesterday in Warren Hospital where he had been a patient for four months.
Prior to that he had been a guest for nine months at the Northampton County Convalescent Home.
Mr. Troxell was a millwright at the C. K. Williams Co. for 37 years, retiring in 1959.
His wife, the former Minnie Campbell, died in 1960.
Survivors include eight sons, Arlington of Phillipsburg, Fred Jr. of Alpha, Earl of Palmer Township, Floyd of Huntington Beach, Calif., Thomas of Riegelsville, Pa., Raymond of Sun City Center, Fla., Charles of Stockertown, and George of Wind Gap; seven daughters, Mrs. Minnie Jones of Phillipsburg, Mrs. Margaret Andrews of Easton, Mrs. Janet Stone of Palmer Township, Mrs. Gladys Sparrow of Wind Gap, Mrs. Jean Beam of Summit, N. J., Mrs. Blanche Strunk of Nazareth, and Mrs. Bessie Steed of Claymont, Del.; 35 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a. m. Monday at the Shillinger Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in the Northampton Memorial Shrine.
