Mrs. Margaret C. Andrews, 74, of 134 S. 11th St., Easton, died Sunday in her home. Her husband, Elwood E. "Gouge" Andrews, a long- time trainer at Easton Area High School, died last November.

She was employed by the city of Easton as a caretaker at Hackett Park, and previously was a machine operator at Strongwear, Inc., Easton.

Born in Nazareth, she was a daughter of the late Fred S. and Minnie (Campbell) Troxell.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Doris Butler of Wilson, Mrs. Patricia Haring of Phillipsburg, Debra of Bensalem Township, Bucks County, and Mrs. Sandra Christ of Trenton, N.J.; six sisters, Mrs. Bessie Steed of Wilmington, Del., Mrs. Janet Stone of Palmer Township, Mrs. Gladys Sparrow of Pen Argyl, Mrs. Blanche Strunk of Nazareth, Mrs. Jean Bean of Somerset, N.J., and Mrs. Minnie Jones of Bethlehem; seven brothers, Raymond in Florida, Thomas of Riegelsville, Earl of Palmer Township, George of Wind Gap, Fred of Alpha, N.J., Floyd in California and Charles of Stockertown; six stepsons, Elwood E. Jr. of Phillipsburg, Richard of Tacoma, Wash., Nelson I. and Paul, both of Easton, William of Newport News, Va., and George of Medford Lakes, N.J.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Lillian Brotzman of Easton, and Mrs. Blanche Baker and Mrs. Elizabeth Moore, both of Phillipsburg; 46 grandchildren and 34 great- grandchildren. A son Clifford predeceased her.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (today) in the Shillinger Funeral Home, 801 Lehigh St., Easton.
