George H. Troxell
George H. Troxell, 75, of Saylorsburg, passed away, Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Pleasant Valley Manor, Hamilton Township.

Born: in Wilson Borough, October 13, 1936, he was the youngest of the fifteen children of the late Fred S. and Minnie Campbell Troxell.

Personal: Prior to retiring, George was employed by the former Valerie Fashions, Wind Gap, prior to that he was employed by the former Janet Lee Sportswear, Nazareth. He was a 1954 graduate of Wilson High School and served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict serving on the USS Midway. He attended St. Mary s Episcopal Church, Wind Gap. He was a Penn State football fan, being a season ticket holder for more than 35 years and was also a Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. He and his wife, the former Georganna Sparrow celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary, December 19th.

Survivors: In addition to his wife Georganna; he is survived by a daughter, Tammi Lynn Pavan and her husband Marc R. of Saylorsburg; a granddaughter, Melissa Lynn Confer and her husband Ryan of Jim Thorpe; a great-granddaughter, Ryah Lynn; a brother, Floyd of Harleysville; and four sisters, Janet Stone of Palmer Twp., Jean Beam of Bath, Bessie Steed of Maryland and Minnie Dutter of Lancaster; and many nieces and nephews.

Services: Funeral services will be held, Monday, November 21, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the Guerro & Ruggiero Funeral Home, http://www.ruggierofuneralhome.com www.ruggierofuneralhome.com , 126 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Pen Argyl. There will be calling hours, Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in Wind Gap Cemetery, Plainfield Township.
