Thomas D. Troxell
Thomas D. Troxell, 76, of Riegelsville, Pa., died Saturday at Quakertown Manor in Quakertown, Pa., where he had been a guest for the last six months.
He worked for 44 years as a maintenance man for the former Dixie Cup Co. in Wilson Borough, pa., retiring in 1977.
Born in Nazareth, he was a son of the late Fred and Minnie Campbell Troxell.
He was an Army veteran and served in World War II.
He and his wife, the former Eleanor E. Davis, celebrated their 35th anniversary last month.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Kay Heebner, of Alpha, N.J. six brothers, Raymond of Sun City, Fla.; Charles of Stockertown, pa., Fred of Phillipsburg, Earl of Palmer Township, pa, George of Saylorsburg, Pa., and Floyd of Banning, Calif.; six sisters, Blanch Strunk of Nazareth, Jean Beam of Bath, Pa., Bessie Steed of Cecilton, Md., Minnie Jones of Bethlehem Township, pa., Janet Stone of Palmer Township, and Gladys Sparrow of Pen Argyl, Pa., and one grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Robert W. Snyder Funeral Home in Riegelsville, pa. Interment will be in the Northampton Memorial Shrine in Palmer Township.
