Howard Troxell, 91, Retired Employee of I-R.
Howard M. Troxell, 91, of 15 Hudson St., Phillipsburg, died yesterday at the Valley Manor in Coopersburg, where he was a guest nine days. He was ill several months.

Born in Nazareth, March 30, 1878, a son of the late Daniel and Franey Hahn Troxell, he lived in Phillipsburg 70 years. His wife, Amy M. Troxell, died in 1956.

Mr. Troxell was employed in the compressor division of the Ingersoll-Rand Co., Phillipsburg, for 38 years, retiring in 1953.

He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, and a member of the Senior choir of the church for 70 years. he was a former member of the official board of the church, a 50 year member of Knight of Pythias, Flemington, and a member of the PO of A, Phillipsburg.

Survivors include a son, Ralph D., Sarasota, Fla.,; two daughters, Mrs. James R. Tallman, Shimer Manor, and Mrs. Frederick H. Taylor, Phillipsburg; a brother, Fred Troxell, Easton; a sister, Mrs. Anna Millheim, Nazareth; three grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Rupell Funeral Home, Phillipsburg.

Howard M. Troxell
The funeral of Howard M. Troxell, 15 Hudson St., Phillipsburg, who died Monday in Valley Manor, Coopersburg, was held this afternoon in the Rupell Funeral Home, Phillipsburg.

The Rev. Thomas F. Cruddas of Wesley United Methodist Church, Phillipsburg, officiated. Interment was in Phillipsburg Cemetery. The pallbearers were Fred Troxell Jr., Arlington and Earl Troxell, L. Jay Shriver, Edwin Bowers and Wendell Lowrie.
