William P. Parr, 67, of 27 Hillside Terrace, Newton, N.J.,
died last night at Morristown Memorial Hospital after a
long illness.
Born in Blairstown, he lived in Newton the last 24 years.
Mr. Parr was an auctioneer for the Hackettstown livestock
Market.
He was member of Newton Methodist Church and a past president
of the New Jersey State Auctioneer's Society.
Survivors include his widow, the former Cletus Hill; three
sons, Kenneth, Newton; Robert, Califon, N.J. and Leslie, Andover,
N.J.; three daughters, Mrs. John McPeek, Andover; Mrs. Richard
Vealey, Paulinskill Lake, N.J., and Mrs. Wesley Decker, Lafayette,
N.J.; six brothers, Arthur and George both of Phillipsburg;
Leon and Harry, both of Easton; Grover, Oxford, N.J., and M.R.
Washingtson, N.J.; 23 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. |
