Cloyd L. Parr, Constable and School Employee
Cloyd L. Parr, 64, of Port Colden, died Saturday afternoon
in Warren Hosptial after a short illness.
Mr. Parr had been employed as janitor at the Washington Township
School in ort Colden for the last 14 years. He also was a constable
in Washington Township.
Born in Blairstwon, he was a son of the late Gershon and Josephine
Vandergrift Parr.
He was ameber of the Washington Methodist Church and the Washington
Township Fire Department, of which he was secretary.
Surviving are his widow, the former Edith Wyckoff, and eight
brothers, Grover C., Oxford; Arthur S. and george P., Phillipsburg;
Harry C. and Leon S., Easton; William P., Newton; M.T., Washington,
and Amos S. in Iowa.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the DeVoe Funeral
Home, Washington. |
