Arthur Stanley Parr
Arthur Stanley Parr, 96, formerly of Route 46, Columbia, N.J.,
died yesterday at Pleasant Valley Manor, Snydersville, where
he had been a guest for over a year.
He was born in Blairstown Township, the son of the late Gershom
and Josephine Vandergrift.
He was a retired farmer.
He was a member of Walpack United Methodist church.
Surviving are his wife, Ethel Morton Parr of Ocean City N.J.;
four daughters, Mrs. Josephine Pyle, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Audrey
Baggs, Ocean City, Miss Doris Parr, Newark, N.J, and Thoebe
Rutan of Newton, N.J.; three sons, Stanley of Columbia, N.J.,
Frank of Phillipsburg, and Jesse of Tulsa, Okla., three brothers,
Grover of Belvidere, and Leon and Harry, both of Easton; 18
grandchilden and 12 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. monday at Northampton
Memorial Shrine. Arrangments are under the direction of the
MacFaden Funeral Home, Belvidere. |
