Mrs. Frank Hay
Mrs. Jennie M. Hay, 83, of 46 S. Pine St. Nazareth, died this morning in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was hospitalized six weeks.
Mrs. Hay was the widow of Frank Hay. Born in Nazareth on Feb. 23, 1877, she was a daughter of the late Tilghman and Henrietta Frankenfield Able. She resided in Atlantic City, N.J. for many years and then returned to Nazareth.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Nazareth, and the Auxiliary of the American Legion, Nazareth.
Surviving are a brother, Asher Abel, Allentown, and two sisters, Mrs. Carrie R. Sandt, Stockertown, and Mrs. Irene Hartzell, Nazareth. She also leaves nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Knecht Funeral Home, Nazareth. |
