Mrs. Marcus Sandt
Mrs. Carrie R. Sandt, 85, of 115 Center St., Stockertown, died this morning in Easton Hospital. She was hospitalized Sunday. She was in ill health 1 1/2 years.

Mrs. Sandt was the widow of Marcus Sandt who died in February 1923. Born in Nazareth, Oct 23, 1878, she was a daughter of the late Tilghman and Henrietta Frankenfield Abel. She resided in Stockertown 60 years. She lived with her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. James Mabus, for the last four years.

She was a member of Forks Lutheran church, Forks Township.

Survivors include three other daughters, Mrs. Virgil Taylor, Stockertown; Esther, wife of Edgar Kolb, Easton R. D., and Kathryn, wife of Andrew Hansen, Kansas City, Kan.; three sons, Freeman T., Easton; Charles A. Nazareth, and George J. Allentown; a sister, Mrs Irene Hartzell, Nazareth; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A son, Floyd died in 1920.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Schmidt Mortuary, Nazareth.
