Earl Woodring, Was in Easton Taxi Business
Earl Wilbur Woodring, 77, a native and long time resident of
Easton, died unexpectedly Tuesday at his home, Tobyhanna R.D.

A resident of Easton until 1957 when he moved to his present
address, Mr. Woodring was in the taxi business in Easton for
approximately 40 years. He was also affiliated with a Cadillac
automobile agency in Easton.
He was the son of the late Wilson and Ella Steckel Woodring.
Mr. Woodring served in the armed forces during World War I
and was a member of Forks Lutheran Church, Brown and Lynch
American Legion Post and VFW Post 1290, both of Easton.
Surviving are his widow, the former Bessie Ihrie, and two
brothers, Russell of Easton and Roy of Phillipsburg.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at his home
in Tobyhanna. Arrangements were made by the Grose Funeral Home,
Mount Pocono.
