Floyd E. Stem
Floyd E. Stem, 53, of 515 Apple Blossom Road, Forks Township died last night in Easton Hospital. He had been in failing health for several years.

He was last employed as a custodian by the Easton Area School District, retiring in 1968 because of poor health. Previously, he was an automobile reconditioner for Brown-Daub Inc, Dockery Motors and Gorham Chevrolet firms.

He was a member of the adult board of the Brad Weaver Memorial Youth Center in Forks Township, Faith Lutheran Church, Forks Township; Avona Volunteer Fire Co. and the Forks Township A.A.

Born on My 2 1921, in Easton, he was the son of the late Leander K. Stem and Gertrude Grube Stem Transue.

Surviving are his widow, the former Shirley Jennings; two sons, *****. and *****., both at home; two brothers, Raymond of Easton and Leander of Avona Heights; and four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Holdsworth, Palmer Township; Mrs. Hazel Sargent, Mrs. Mabel Hummel and Mrs. Ethel Golden, all of Wilson.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Faith Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Easton Heights Cemetery, Arrangements are in charge of the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton.
