Mrs. Albert Shipe
Mrs. Anna Shipe, 65 years old, wife of Albert Shipe, died at 2:30 o'clock
yesterday afternoon at her home, 272 West Wilkes-Barre street, of a
complication. She had been an invalid for the past six years but had
been seriously ill for about two months. She was a native and lifelong
resident of this city and was a faithful and devoted member of St.
Peter's Reformed church.
Mrs. Shipe is survived by her husband, a daughter Mrs. Jacob Rymond,
of the South Side; two sons, Frank, of Phillipsburg and Lester at home;
a sister, Mrs. Alice West, of Easton, and two brothers, Harry Glessner,
of Pen Argyl and Leonard Glessner, of Jersey City. There are also nine
grandchildren surviving. |
