Mrs. Mary G. Brotzman
Mrs. Mary Glessner Brotzman, widow of the late Thomas R. Brotzman,
was found dead at 6:30 this morning at her home, No 155 East Wilkes-Barre
Street, South Side, by her daughter, Mrs. Anna Dorshimer. Dr. W.H.
McIlhaney, who was called, pronounced death due to apoplexy. Dr. J.J.
Condran; health officer, gave a certificate of death from natural causes.
Mrs. Brotzman was in good health on Sunday, and attended services
in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, South Side in the morning. She was aged
71 years and 6 months.
Deceased is survived by the following children: Frank W. Brotzman,
of Kern, California; Edward Brotzman of Denver, Col. Leonard Brotzman
and Mrs. Anna Dorshimer of the South Side, and Mrs. Edward Kester,
of Williams Township; also by 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren,
and the following brothers and sisters; Herny Glessner of Pen Argyl;
Leonard Glessner, of Jersey City; Mrs. Annie Shipe, of Easton; and
Mrs. Alice West. of Phillipsburg. Her husband died two years ago. She
was a native of Easton and a daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. William
Glessner. For many years she was a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran
church, South side, and was loved by a wide circle of friends.
