Forrest L. Shipe
Forrest L. Shipe, 76, of 1242 Elm St., died Saturday in Northampton
Convalescnt Center, Easto, where he had been a gust since last Nov.
12. He was in failing health for several months.
For the last 10 years he was a clerk at the Easton YMCA, Previously,
he was a proof press operator at Mack Printing Co., Wilson, for 15
years retiring in 1963.
He was born on April 24, 1897, in Easton, the son of the late Albert
F. and Anna Shipe.
His wife, the former Alma Beatrice Brown, died in 1972.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Krider, Mrs. Dorothy Maglic
and Mrs. *****. All of Easton; two stepdaughters, M and a stepson,
all of Easton; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services wil be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Ashton Funeral Home,
Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine.
