Isaac Deemer, 61, Tax Collector in Williams Township.
The funeral of Isaac A. Deemer, 61 Easton R.D. 4, will be
held at 2 p.m. Thursday at his home. Mr. Deemer died unexpectedly
yesterday in Easton Hospital.
Mr. Deemer was tax collector for Williams Township for the
last 28 years. He was a farmer.
Born in Williams Township, he was a son of the late William
and Emma Geisler Deemer. He lived all his life in the home
where he was born.
Mr. Deemer was a member of St. John United Church of Christ,
Riegelsville, and an elder of the church consistory. He also
was a member of the Pennsylvania Guernsey Breeders Association.
Surviving are his widow, the former Margaret Lehr; two daughters,
Mrs. Wilmont Brink, Washington, N.J., and Mrs. David Water,
at home; a son, E. Ellsworth Deemer, president of the Williams
Township School Board; two brothers, Elmer E. Deemer and George
D. Beidleman, both of Raubsville, and two grandchildren, A
daughter, Carolyn; died before him. |
