E. Ellsworth Deemer, Former Member of Wilson School Board
E. Ellsworth Deemer, 52, of Easton R.D. 4, Williams Township,
died this morning in Easton Hospital.
Born in the home where he lived, he was the son of Mrs. Lahr
Deemer of Williams Township and the late Isaac Deemer.
Mr. Deemer was employed as a maintenance foreman for the Delaware
River Bridge Commission, and was associated with the Snyder
Funeral Home, Riegeslville, for 20 years.
His wife is the former Shirley I. Billheimer.
A member of St. John' Church of Christ in Riegelsville, he
was currently an elder on the consistory. He was past vice
president and past financial secretary of the church.
Mr. Deemer was a 32nd degree Mason. He was a member, past
master and past secretary of Prosperity Lodge 567 of Riegelsville.
He was also past district deputy and past president.
A member of the Forks of the Delaware Shrine Club in Easton,
he also belonged to the Rajah Temple in Reading, the Royal
Order of Scotland and the Lehigh Consistory in Allentown.
Mr. Deemer was a former member of the Wilson Borugh School
Board, and was currently on the Wilson School Authority. He
was a member of the Williams Township Fire Co. and served on
the board of the Raubsville Cemetery.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. E. Wilmont S. Brink of
of Washington, N.J. and Mrs. R. David Walter of Easton R. D.

Fuenral services will be held at 11 a.m. Satruday at St. John's
United Church of Christ in Riegelsville. Interment will be
in Raubsvlle Cemetery.
Masonic services by Prosperity Lodge 567 will be held at 8:30
p.m. Friday at the Robert W. Snyder funeral Home, Reigelsville.
