Jessie C. Brink, 75, of Washington, formerly of Easton, died
Saturday Jan. 2 ,in her home. She was retired after working
for man years for the Ja-Ce Company at the Warren Hills Middle
School Cafeteria. She was manager for 27 years and still
worked as a substitute. Born Dec. 6, 1923, in Easton, she
was a daughter of the late Margaret and Isaac Deemer. She
was a member of the United Methodist Church of Washington,
where she was a organist and a member of the church bell
choir. She was a member of the Eastern Star for many years.
She enjoyed business trips with her husband and going to
auctions. She and her husband, Wilmont "Buck" S.,
were married for 45 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter,
a sister, Shirley Walter of Hellertown;
and seven grandchildren. A brother, Ellsworth and a sister,
Carolyn, died earlier. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday
in the United Methodist Church of Washington, East Washington
Ave., Washington. Call 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday in the
church. Burial will be in the Musconetcong Valley Cemetery
in Hampton. The DeVoe Funeral Home, 136 West Washington, Washington,
is in charge of the arrangements. The family requests memorials
to the United Methodist Church, 116 East Washington Ave., Washington,
NJ 07886 or to the Hunterdon Hospice, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington,
NJ 08822.
