Esther E. Reagan,
Active in UCC Church

Esther E. Reagan, 90, of Plainfield Township, died Sunday, July 1st in Gracedale, the Northampton County Nursing Home in Upper Nazareth Township.

She was a homemaker. Earlier in life, she worked at Ingersoll-Rand in Phillipsburg. Before that, she worked at Ideal Fashions in Pen Argyl.

Born Oct. 13th 1910, in Forks Township, she was a daughter of the late Stewart & Annie Shimer Young.

She was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Belfast for more than 70 years, where she was a Sunday school teacher, sang in the choir, & was a member of the Women's Guild.

Her husband, Horace R., died in 1987.

She is survived by 2 sons, *****, of Riverview, Fla., and *****, of Wind Gap; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be hale at 11 a.m. Thursday in the church, 474 Belfast Road, Belfast. Call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere Road, Nazareth, & from 10 a.m. Thursday to time of services in the church. Burial will be in Belfast Union Cemetery.

The family requests memorials to the church, Nazareth, Pa. 18064.
