Vogel Funeral
Funeral services for Wilson Vogel, 87, of 237 Philadelphia
Road, who died Wednesday at the Baker Convalesent Home, Newburg,
were held today at the Snyder funeral home. The Rev. Luther
A. Gruver, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, officated.
Interment was in Hay cemetery.

Mrs. Wilson Vogel
Mrs. Mary J. Vogel, 60 years old, wife of Wilson Vogel, died
suddenly at 5:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at her home 234
Philadelphia Road. She was about the house as usual during
the morning and was attending to her household duties when
she was stricken with indigestion. A physician wwas hurriedly
summoned and for a time she rallied and appeared to be improving
when suddenly took a change for the worse and her death soon
folllowed.
Mrs. Vogel was a native of Mauch Chuck but had resided here
for the past forty years. She is survived by her husband, three
children; Mrs. Francis Dech and Carl and Marshal Vogel, all
at home, and also by three sisters; Mrs. Frank Andrews, of
Easton; Mrs. Kate Lyons, of Easton, who is visiting in Ogden,
Utah, and Miss Sallie Weyhenmeyer, of Easton. She was a member
of the First M. E. Church. |
