Raymond J. Transue
Raymond J. Transue, 65, of 1451 Ferry St., died yesterday morning
in the Muhlenberg Medical Center after a long illness.
Born in Easton, Jan 9, 1904, he was a son of the late Isaac
Jacob and Ida E. Starr Transue. His widow is the former Lottie
Trauger.
Mr. Transue was a retired carpenter for the Lehigh Valley
Railroad.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Easton Moose and
Eagles Lodges and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Else M. Haring and Mrs.
Mildred E. Gerhart, both of Easton.
The funeral will be held at 2.pm. Wednesday at the Shilliger
Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Hay's Cemetery.
