Mrs. Elsie M. Haring, 86, of Gracedale, Nazareth R.D. 1, formerly
of 1337 Lehigh St., Easton, died Thursday in Easton Hospital.
Her husband, William Arthur Haring Sr., died in 1972.
Born in Coffeetown, Lehigh County (Note: Should read Northampton
County), she was a daughter of the late Isaac J. and Ida E.
Transue.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Easton.
Surviving are a son, **** of Palmer Township; three
daughters, Mrs. Sarah M. Lewis of Vineland, N.J., ***** of
Milford, N.J., and Mrs. Florence M. Black of Easton; a sister,
Mrs. Mildred E. Gerhart of Wilson; 14 grandchildren and 18
great-grandchildren. A daughter, Elizabeth I. Sandt, died in
1982.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Ashton Funeral
Home, 14th and Northampton streets, Easton. Calling hours will
be 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday.
