Floyd E. Transue Dies from Burns
Floyd Edward Transue, 41 years old, of 141 Stewart Street, died
at 12:10 this morning at Easton Hospital from burns suffered
in yesterday's explosion at the Gas Company.
He was born in Easton, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Isaac
J. Transue and was a member of Second Methodist Church. He
had been employed at the Gas Company as a fireman since January,
1943.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ruth F. Transue, five children,
Marion Dorothy, Edward William, Elizabeth Helen, Eleanor Virginia
and John Floyd Transue; one brother, Raymond Transue of Easton;
and two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Haring, and Miss Mildred Transue,
of Easton.
