Jackson Stocker
Jackson "Dot" Stocker, 74, of 502 Frederick St. died
Saturday morning in Easton Hospital where he was admitted Dec
21.
Mr. Stocker was employed by Penn Salt Manufacturing Co until
the plant was closed and last worked as a janitor at Wilson
high School, retiring in 1969.
Born Sept 19, 1897 in Easton he was a son of the late Monroe
J. and Mary Brotzman Stocker.
Mr. Stocker was an Army Veteran of both World War 1 and World
War II.
He was of Lutheran faith and was vice president of the Pioneer
Athletic Association and a member of of the Citizens Hose Co,
Order of Fleas, Italian-American Democratic Club and Castel
di Lucio Society, all of Easton.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Donald Shaneberger, Washington
NJ, Three sons, Jackson F, Wilson, Donald D, Easton, and Ronald
R Buena park, Calif; a brother Edward, Wilson, a sister, Mrs.
Myra Van Syckle, Philadelphia: Four grandchildren and three
great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 am Wednesday at the Strunk
Funeral Home. Easton Interment will be in South Easton Cemetery.
