Mrs. Sadie E. Evans
Mrs. Sadie E. Evans, 63, died yesterday afternoon at Fair Lawn
N.J. where she resided with her brother-in-law and sister,
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Terhune. She had been in ill health for
six months. She was a daughter of Monroe J. and Mary Brotzman
Stocker, residing in South Side.
Mrs. Evans was born in Easton and spent all her life and lived
here until four years ago, when she went to Fair Lawn. She
was a member of the Lutheran Church, Fair Lawn, and the American
Legion Auxiliary, Brown and Lynch Post Unit, Easton.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by one daughter,
Mrs. Chester Detweiler, of Nazareth; a grandson; and thee sisters
and two brothers, Mrs. Albert Knerr of Easton; Mrs. Lloyd VanSyckle
of Philadelphia; Mrs. Floyd Terhune, of Fair Lawn; Edward Stocker
of Easton, and Jack Stocker, U.S. Army in Mississippi. |
