Donald D. Stocker, 72, of Easton died Wednesday, Dec. 25,
in his home.
He worked at James River Corp., Wilson, until retiring.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Jackson Stocker and
Dorothy (Johnson) Altemus.
He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Easton.
A Marine Corps veteran of World War II, he received a Purple
Heart and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Dyle E.
Bray Post, Bangor.
He was a life member of the Order of Fleas and Citizens Hose
Company, both in Easton, and Safety First Volunteer Fire Company,
West Easton, and a member of Liberty Hose Company, Easton.
Survivors: Brother, ***** Stocker of Kennett, Mo.; sister,
Viola Shaneberger of Washington, N.J.; nieces and nephews.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Strunk Funeral Home, 602 W.
Berwick St., Easton. Call 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday.
Contributions: To a charity of one's choice.
