Charles H. Stocker
Charles Harrison Stocker, 64, husband of Mrs. Ann (Christman)
Stocker, 1540 Tilghman St., died on Thursday at Allentown Hospital
where he had been a patient since Sunday.
He had been a brakeman on the P and R Railroad for 30 years
until an injury forced him to retire four years ago. He was
born in Allentown, a son of the late Herman and Sarah Ann (Harrison)
Stocker. He resided most of his life in Allentown except for
a few years spent in Easton. He was a member of the Brotherhood
of Railway Trainmen.
Surviving with his wife are a daughter, Pearl, wife of Edward
Paul; a step-daughter, Ethel, wife of Ralph Prete; a brother,
Oliver, all of Allentown; three sisters, Irene, wife of Clarence
Williamson, Klecknersville; Talford, wife of Fred Fleischman,
and Mrs. Helen Walters, both of Allentown; three grandchildren,
Sandra Paul, Rose Ann Prete and Shirley Buchfelter, and two
great-grandchildren. |
