Oliver A. Stocker
Oliver A. Stocker of 828Lawrence Street, Allentown, died at
his home Saturday night. He was 66.
Born in Reddington, Northampton County, he was a son of the
late Herman and Sarah Harrison Stocker. He was the husband
of the former Carrie S. Bohner.
He worked 19 years with Earl Egolf and sons, Allentown roofing
firm, and was previously with the Lehigh Valley Railroad. He
retired two years ago.
During World War I he served with the United States Army,
seeing action overseas and attained the rank of corporal.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three sisters, Telford,
wife of Fred W. Fleischman; Helen, wife of James Henry and
Mrs. Irene Williamson, all of Allentown. Three brothers preceded
him in death.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Trexler Funeral
Home, 116 S. 8th St., Allentown. Viewing will be 7-8:30 p.m.
