William C. Steckel
William C. Steckel, 77, for many years a punch press operator
at the F. F. Grammes & Sons, Inc., Allentown, died Sunday
night at Cedarbrook, Allentown R. 2.
He was a native of Easton, a son of the late Frantz and Lillie
(Knerr) Steckel. His family moved to Western Lehigh County
when he was a child and he lived most of his life in the Fogelsvile
area.
He left Grammes & Sons to join the Rodale Manufacturing
Co., Emmaus. He retired 12 years ago.
He was foster grandfather o the Junior Girl Scout Troop 891,
Bethlehem, for the last five years.
He is survived by a brother, Robert S. Steckel, Allentown,
and one sister, mabel, wife of Harry Parks, Breinigsville R.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday Trexler Funeral Home,
1625 Highland St., Allentown. There will be no viewing. |
