Mrs. Harry B. Parks, Sr.
Mrs. Mabel L. (Steckel) Parks, 72, of Breinigsville R. 1, died
Sunday in Allentown Hospital. She was the wife of Harry B.
Parks Sr.
Born in Crackerport, she was a daughter of the late Frantz
and Lillie (Knerr) Steckel.
She and her husband celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary
last June.
Surviving besides her husband are seven sons, Warren, ****,
William, Edwin, and ****, all of Allentown, ****, Emmaus,
and Frank, Philadelphia; three daughters, ****, wife of
****, Allentown, *****, wife of *****, Cockeysville,
Md., ****, wife of *****, Costa Mesa, Calif.;
one brother, Robert Steckel, Allentown, and 24 grandchildren.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. There will
be no calling hours. Arrangements are being made by the J.S.
Burkholder Funeral Home, 1601 Hamilton St., Allentown. |
