Earl McKee, 75, Pitcher, For I-R, North End Nines
Services were held today in the Ashton Funeral home, Easton,
for Earl McKee, 75, of 2850 Jones Blvd. Palmer Township.
He died yesterday in Eastwood Convalescent Home after being
in failing health for three years.
He retired in 1966 as Foreman for the Cameron Pump Division
of Ingersoll-rand Co., after 42 years of service.
Born in Phillipsburg on Feb 28, 1902, he was a son of the
late John and Rose Osmun McKee.
A Prominent area sportsman, he was pitcher for the North
End and Cameron Pump baseball teams.
He was a member of the McKinley Club, the Order of the fleas
and the Concordia Maennerchor, all of Easton.
His wife, the former Ida Mae Bowe, died in 1973.
Surviving are a son, a daughter,
two brothers, Roy and
Fancis, both of Easton; five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Interment was in Northampton Memorial Shrine. |
