Clarence McKee, 74, In Navy for 30 Years
Clarence L. McKee, 74, of 823 W. Berwick St., who served
in the U.S. Navy 30 years, was stricken fatally yesterday
at his home. Death was attributed to natural causes.
A veteran of World War II, Mr. McKee was a first class machinist
in the Navy when he was discharge in 1945.
He then worked as a bench hand in the Cameron pump division
of Ingersoll Rand Co. retiring in 1852. He was disabled the
last 20 years.
Born Oct 20, 1897, in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the
late John and Rose Osborn McKee, his wife the former Elizabeth
Hill, died Nov 18, 1971.
He was of the United Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include four brothers, Earl, Palmer Township;
Francis and Roy, both of Easton, and Frank, Phillipsburg,
and a niece and nephew.
The funeral will beheld at 11 a.m. Friday at the Strunk
Funeral Home, Easton, Interment will be in Hay's Cemetery. |
