Mrs. Osbourne Werkheiser
Mrs. Edith Mae Werkheiser, 48, wife of Osbourne H. Werkheiser, of 13 North Twenty-First Street, died suddenly yesterday at 2:30 p.m. at her home.
She was born in Butztown, July 4, 1900, a daughter of Milton J. Kelchner of 1543 Northampton Street and the late Lizzie V. Hartzell Kelchner. Mrs. Werkheiser as a member of the Evangelical Reformed congregation of St. John’s church, Farmersville.
Surviving are her husband and father; six daughter, Mrs. Florence Weller, of Palmer Heights and the Misses Eleanor, Betty, Doris, Joyce and Jo Anne, all at home; seven sons, Henry with the Navy in Charleston, S.C.; Lester and Sterling, both in Chicago, Ill.; Donald of Easton, and Kenneth, Stanley and Gerald, all at home. Three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Flora S. Transue, of Easton and Mrs. Emma L. Edelman, of Nazareth R.D1, and three brothers, Elwood S. Kelchner, of Mounted Route 36, Easton; Floyd O. Kelchner, of Bethlehem, and Sterling E. Kelchner, of Easton R.D. 2
