Mrs. Bernard Carberry
Mrs. Hattie Knoble Carberry, 47, a former resident of Phillipsburg,
died early this morning in the Presbyterian Hospital, Newark,
N.J. Her home was in East Orange, N.J.
Mrs. Carberry was born in West Easton, a daughter of Mrs.
Matilda Knoble, of 44 Glen avenue, Phillipsburg, and the late
William Knoble. She was the wife of Bernard Carberry.
A Resident of Phillipsburg most of her life, she moved to
East Orange about 10 years ago. She was a emmber of First Baptist
Church, Phillipsburg. She had been hosptialized for two weeks.
Surviving, besides her husband and mother, are four brothers,
John, Leonard, and Thomas Knoble, all of Phillipsburg, and
William Knoble, of Morris Park and three sisters, Mrs. Harry
Carpenter and Mrs. Amos Stamets, both of Huntington, and Mrs.
Howard Sigafoos, of Alpha
