Clare W. Kiefer, 59, Raubsville Resident
Clare W. Kiefer, 59, of Raubsville, died unexpectedly yesterday
afternoon at Warren hospital where he had been a patient since
Monday.
He was the husband of Emma E. Jones Kiefer.
Mr. Kiefer was employed as service manager by Gutshall Chevrolet
of Hellertown. Previously he had been employed by Flagler Chevrolet,
Raubsville, for 41 years. He recently received a plaque from
General Motors Corp. in recognition of 25 years service as
a service manager.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Raubsville,
and formerly served on the church council. He was a member
of Prosperity Lodge 567, F&AM, Riegelsville; a past president
of the Riegelsville Kiwanis club, and was serving as secretary
of the Raubsville cemetery Association.
Born in Williams Township, he was a son of the late Freeman
and Carrie Peifer Kiefer.
Survivors include two sons, Nelson A. and *****, both
of Ferndale; a daughter, *****, at home, and
two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Robert
W. Snyder Funeral Home, Riegelsville. |
