Nelson Kiefer, retired auto mechanic
Nelson "Bud" Kiefer, 70, of Ferndale, Pa., died Sunday
August 11, in Doylestown, Pa., at the home of his daughter
*****.
An automobile mechanic, he was last employed for 33 years
by Gutshall Chevrolet, Hellertown, retiring in 1988, he served
as a policeman for Nockamixon Township, Bucks County for 10
years.
Born Feb 1, 1936, in Raubsville, he was a son of the late
Clare Kiefer Sr. and Emma Jones Kiefer.
He was a member and former councilman of St. Luke's Lutheran
Church, Ferndale.
He was a World War II Army veteran.
He was a member and past master of Prosperity Lodge 567 F&AM
Riegelsville.
His wife the former Evelyn M. Litzenberger, died in 1989.
Surviving in addition to his daughter are a son, ***** of
Perkasie, Pa. a brother ***** of Bethlehem Township,
Pa.; a sister ***** of Raubsville, and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Durham Lutheran
Church, Durham, Pa. Call from Noon to the time of Services
Wednesday at the church.
Burial will be in Durham Cemetery.
The family requests memorials to the Doylestown Hospice, in
care of the Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, Pa, 18901.
The Robert W. Snyder Funeral Home, 327 Easton Road, Riegelsville
is in charge of arrangements. |
