Freeman Kiefer Dies Suddenly
Native of Williams, Retired Farmer
Freeman A Kiefer 70 years old one of the best know residents
of Williams Township, died suddenly last night at his home
between Raubsville and Coffeetown. he had been about his work
as usual during the day and at about 6 o'clock he was stricken
with a heart attack and died in a short time.
Mr. Kiefer was a native of Williams Township, son of the late
Joseph and Rose Koken Kiefer. he was a farmer all his life
until his retirement several years ago, when he moved to his
home below Raubsville.
For many years he was superintendent of the Sunday school
of St. John' Lutheran Church, Morgan’s Hill. and after
moving to new home, he was named superintendent of St Paul's
Lutheran Sunday School. Raubsville a position he held until
the time of his death. He was a member of the knights of Humanity
Lodge at Raubsville.
He is survived by his widow Mrs. Carrie Peifer Kiefer, two
sons Russell and Clare Kiefer of Raubsville, five grandchildren
and one great-grandson. |
