William Kester was taken ill near the Lehigh Valley Passenger Station
William Kester, for many years a resident of the South side, and who
for a number of years was employed as a conductor by the Lehigh Valley
Railroad Company, died in Easton Hospital at 9:30 last night of uremia.
He was taken ill while on the street near the Lehigh Valley passenger
station, during the afternoon.
Deceased had lately been making his home in Easton. He was about 70
years of age and is survived by a daughter and two sons.

The funeral of William Kester, a former Lehigh Valley Railroad engineer
who was taken ill near the Lehigh Valley Station Wednesday evening
and died shortly after being admitted to the Easton Hospital was held
at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon from the home of his sister, Mrs. Sarah
Roseberry, 1547 Northampton Street. Rev J. P Dieffenderfer, pastor
of Memorial Reformed Church, conducted the service, South Side, relatives
were pallbearers.
