lived in Lancaster in 1900, she had two more daughters, Edith and Marguerite.

Joseph Kester, a brakeman on a Valley coal train, who was taken suddenly
ill while on duty one week ago, died last night at his home on Wilkes-Barre
Street. The deceased was 35 years of age and leaves a wife and two
children. The cause of this illness is attributed to an attack of
the grip, from which had never fully recovered. Besides his wife
and children he is survived by his mother and a sister, Mrs. William
Roseberry, of Easton. He was a member of the Brakesmen's Brotherhood
and of St. Peter's Reformed Church. The funeral will take place Sunday
at 2:30 p.m. |
