Robert M Kester
Robert M Kester of 2774 Seip Ave. Palmer Township, died at 3:10 A.M.
today in Easton Hospital. He was hospitalized Nov, 22. He was in
ill health two years. He resided with is son-in-law and daughter,
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Smith, at the Palmer Township address for the
last three years. Before that the family lived at 911 Reynolds St.
Born in Easton, Mr. Kester was a son of the late Joseph (Error here,
Joseph is uncle) and Amelia Sondermier Kester. His wife, the former
Claire Morgan died before him.
He was a retired employee of the Pennsylvania Salt Manufacturing Co.
He was employed there 12 years, retiring 13 years ago. Before that
he was employed in the shop at the Lehigh Valley Railroad.
He was of the United Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include a grandson and nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 P.M. at the Ashton Funeral Home,
Easton.

The funeral of Robert M. Kester of 2774 Seip Ave, Palmer Township
was held this afternoon at the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton. Mr. Kester
died Thursday in Easton Hospital.
Rev. Frederick W. Shafer of St. Peter's United Church of Christ officiated.
Interment was in Northampton Memorial Shrine. The pallbearers were
E. Marvin Kester, William P Kester, E. Gus Schuler and Donald F. Smith. |
