Edward M. ''Marty'' Kester, 73, of Coffeetown Road, Williams
Township, former member of the Wilson Area School Board, died Saturday
in St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Edna (Snyder) Kester.
He worked for Hobson Printing Co., Wilson, for 47 years until retiring
in 1979.
Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Edward F. and Flossie (Brotzman)
Kester.
He served with the Army during World War II.
Surviving with his widow are a daughter, a brother,
William T. of Williams Township; two sisters, Verna Frankenfield of
Williams Township and Dorothy Schuler of West Easton, and three grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Raubsville United
Methodist Church. There will be no calling hours.
The Strunk Funeral Home, Berwick and Reynolds streets, Easton, is
in charge of arrangements. |
