Dorothy K. Schuler, floor lady
Dorothy K. Schuler, 86, formerly of Rieglesville and West Easton, died
Thursday, July 4 in Liberty Nursing Center in Allentown, where she
had been a resident since February of 1993.
In her earlier years, she was a floor lady in the former Chipman Knitting
Mills in West Easton for more than 10 years.
Born Jan 5, 1910, in Williams Township, she was a daughter of the
late Edward and Flossie Brotzman Kester.
She was a member of the Rieglesville and Williams Township senior
citizens groups. She formerly served on the election board in Rieglesville.
She was a member of the Katherine Neikirk Society of St. Peters Lutheran
Church in Rieglesville.
She is survived by her husband, E. Gus of Torrington, Conn.; and a
brother, William Kester of Williams Township.
There will be no calling hours. Graveside services for burial of cremains
will be held in the Riegelsville Union Cemetery at the convenience
of the family.
The Robert W, Snyder Funeral Home, 327 Easton Road, Riegelsville,
is in charge of arrangements.
Dorothy lived with her sister, Verna, before she got married. |
