Mrs. George Diehl
Mrs. Olive E. Diehl, 69, of 1531 Butler St., died Saturday
at her home.
Born in Williams Township on June 18, 1904, she was a daughter
of the late Forrest and Annie Unangst Fox, Her husband, George
W. Diehl, died in 1972.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and Golden
Age Club 1, both Easton.
Mrs. Diehl was a bookkeeper for the Union Fuel Co. several
years, retiring 10 years ago.
Survivors include a son, a daughter, three brothers, Harold,
Easton; Howard, Nazareth, and Russell, Sarasota, Fla., and
three sisters, Mrs. Ann Walter and Mrs. Helen Miller, both
of Easton, and Mrs. Eleanor Morrison, Hackettstown, N.J., and
five grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Ashton
funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial
Shrine. |
