Mrs. Elmer Williams, Ex-Area Waitress
Mrs. Edith Viola Williams of 123 S. 15th St., Wilson . died
yesterday in Easton Hospital, where she was a patient a week.
She was the wife of Elmer Williams, Democratic committeeman
in Wilson's First Ward.
Mrs. Williams was formerly employed as a waitress at the Pomfret
Club and the Rathskeller, Wilson.
She attended Easton school and was of the United Church of
Christ faith. She was a past president of the auxiliary of
Lester Pfeffer Post 611 American Legion.
Surviving are a twin sister, Mrs. George Diehl, Wilson; four
other sisters, Mrs. Charles Morrison, Hackettstown; Mrs. Roy
Walters, Portland; Mrs. Laura Hay, Allentown and Mrs. Helen
Miller, Palmer Township, and three brothers, Harold Fox, Palmer
Township; Howard Fox, Easton, and James Fox, Sarasota, Fla.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Katinis
Funeral Chapel, Wilson. |
