Ammon Zellner, 81, died at 1:39 pm. Wednesday, at the residence of
his granddaughter, Mr. C. G. Rabert, 405 Monroe Street, Freemansburg,
following an illness of some time.
Born in Mahoning Valley and a member of the Reformed Faith, He was
collector of wampum of Tedyuscung Tribe, 117, I. O. R. M., Freemansburg;
employe of the Prudential Insurance Company until he retired 18 years
ago. And for many years treasurer of the Lehigh-Northampton County
Red Men’s Associtation. His wife, Lilie Clause Zellner, preceded
him in death.
Surviving are a great-grandson, Robert B. Steiner, Dundalk, Md; Three
grandchildren; Donald L. Steiner, of Dundalk, Md. Mrs. C. G. Rabert,
Freemansburg, and Mrs. C. J. Hartigan, this city.
Rev. Paul Stauch, will officiate at Funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday
in the Steyers Funeral home, 70 East Broad Street. burial will e made
in the Evangelical Cemetery, Freemansburg.
