Herbert Clause
Herbert Clause, 63 years old, died last night at his home in Kunkletown
after an illness of six weeks. He was a loom repairer.
He was a member of Friendship Lodge, I. O. O. F., of Bethlehem; P.
O. S. of A. Camp of Freemansburg; Easton Aerie 111, Fraternal Order
of Eagles; Fire Relief Association of Wilson Borough; West End Council
and the Reformed Church of Kunkletown.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Beulah Clause, a step-son, Fred
Shaffer, of Easton; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Phifer, of Allentown,
and two brothers, Floyd, of Allentown, and Alvin, of Easton.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:40 p.m. from the
E. D. Hamm funeral home of Brodheadsville, with continued services
in St. Matthew's Reformed Church, of Kunkletown. Burial will be in
the adjoining cemetery. The Rev. Adam Bohner will officiate.
