Mrs. Lewis Messinger
Mrs. Martha Jane Messinger, 68, Ackermanville, died this morning in Easton Hospital where she was a patient three months. She was in ill health four months.

Born in Plainfield Township, she was a daughter of the late James and Cula Diehl Hahn. Her husband was the late Lewis E. Messinger.

Mrs. Messinger was employed by Craf-Mar- Blouse Co., Bangor for many years.

She was a member of International Ladies Garment Workers Union, Ethel Chapter 172, Order of Eastern star, Bangor and the Ladies Aid of Plainfield Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Emily Hill, Bangor; three sons, Virgil, Easton; Sterling, Ackermanville, and Vernon, Nazareth; three brothers, Howard, and Marcus Hahn both of Nazareth R.D. and Oscar Hahn, Marshalls Creek., three sisters, Mrs. .Esther Jones, Bangor, Mrs. Alice Itterly, Ackermanville and Mrs. Ruth Werkheiser, Allentown and 11 grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Miller Funeral Home, Bangor. Interment will be in Plainfield Township Cemetery.
