Esther L. Jones, 84, of 17 Blue Valley Drive, Bangor, died Sunday at home after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Charles W. Jones, who died in 1989.
She was a sewing machine operator for the former Ed Rose Manufacturing Co., Bangor, for 22 years until retiring in 1979.
Born in Plainfield Township, she was a daughter of the late James and Cula (Diehl) Hahn.
She was a member of Flicksville United Church of Christ.
Survivors: Sons, Charles R. of Plainfield Township, Sherwood R. of Flicksville and David W., at home; brother, Howard F. of Plainfield Township; sister, Alice L. Itterly of Ackermanville; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Velma J. Rosenberry, and a son, Gerald W.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Hough Home for Funerals, 207 Market St., Bangor. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
