Mrs. Howard C. Knecht
Mrs. Sarah Margaret Young Knecht, 75, Easton R. D.2, died yesterday at the Bethlehem convalescent Home. She had been ill a long time.
Mrs. Knecht was born in Bushkill Township, on March 15, 1882. She was a daughter of the late Valentine and Susan Gold Young.
She was a charter member of the Ladies of the Golden Eagle, Nazareth, and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Nazareth.
Surviving are one son, Russell, Easton R.D.2; four daughters, Mrs. Wilson Brodt, Tatamy; Mrs. Charles Garrison, and Mrs. Mahlon Rumsey, both of Nazareth, and Mrs. Harrison Meyers, Wydnor; three brothers, George Young, Nazareth, R.D2, Harry and Francis Young, both of Nazareth R.D3; two sisters, Mrs. Floyd Cressman and Mrs. John Buzzard, both of Nazareth R.D.3 ; 10 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Knecht funeral Home, Nazareth. |
