Mrs. Claude Stone, Resident of Wilson
Mrs. Anna E. Stone, 67, wife of Claude stone, 2118 Forest St., Wilson, died at 4:30 p.m. yesterday in Easton Hospital, where she had been a patient for a month. She had been in failing health for the last three months.
Born in Easton on April 19, 1892, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Ella Jones Wertley.
Mrs. Stone was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran church, Wilson; the Deborah Circle of Good Shepherd Church, and the Mothers of World War II.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four children, Herbert Stone, of Wilson, William Stone and Mrs. Thomas Elliott, both of Palmer Township and Mrs. Lester Oros, Fords, N.J.; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond Unangst, Nazareth, and Mrs. William Gilroy, Trenton, H.J. and 11 grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton. |
